How does the saying go, “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great”? 😅 I love being a beginner! Except maybe in playing guitar or surfing, those things are so hard! Turns out punch needle work is not too hard. I’m obsessed! 💛

🐣🐣🐣 Are you ready for a fun 3D macrame project, a cute little Easter egg decoration? You can make the egg with or without the hanging loop, so you can use it in a basket or on a table or hang it somewhere appropriate to make your house all colorful for Easter. ✨

Here are a few specs about this design:
- Skill level: Intermediate
- Time needed: approximately 45 minutes to an hour
- Measurements: about 6cm[2.5”] wide and 4cm[1.5”] high.
- Cord: 3mm braided cord

I think it’s time to start making Easter decor, but then again I’m always making decor at the very last moment, like the night before… So, be better than me and get started now haha! 😜 The full video tutorial for these macrame Easter eggs is in my macrame membership and my Etsy store! My dear friend Julia just shared her latest macrame project with me: it’s the deckchair from Macrame Makers Club! She’s making two of these for her new apartment’s terrace and I cannot wait to see them in real life. I absolutely love this - and her added detail of the fringe in the front! 💛

New macrame heart keychain TUTORIAL is up in the club. ✨💕🌸

I call these cuties The Love Loops. Valentine’s day is fast approaching and this is the cutest little gift you can make for someone special!

In my childhood in Finland Valentines’ day was celebrated as a “friendship day” and not as a day of romantic love. It can be celebrated amongst romanic partners too, but the name of the day is a literal translation of “friendship day” or “ystävänpäivä”. So I encourage you to spread this message of universal love and make many little hearts to gift out to your friends and family members! 💗

I attached a keychain clasp to my macrame heart, but you can hand these out as simple little tokens of your love.

Here are some specs about this macrame project:
- Cord: 3mm twisted macrame cord
- Difficulty: Easy
- Time needed: About 15-30 minutes
- Size of finished product: 5cm or 2 inches in diameter
